North Bethesda Middle School PTSA

Our Mission Statements 

• To support and speak on behalf of ALL children in NBMS, at school, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting our children  
• To assist parents by providing them a venue from which to advocate for their children
• To encourage parent and community involvement in the goals and activities of the PTSA   

Our Major Projects

• Communicate regularly with the principal, staff, and community in pursuit of the common goal of providing our children with an environment that will result in the best possible learning experience
• Communicate the activities of the PTSA to the school staff, parents, and students– (PTSA Web Site, Listservs, Newsletters, and Flyers as needed)
• Establish and maintain after school activities designed to enrich the lives of NBMS students
• Establish and maintain a group of volunteers and committees to support the school and the PTSA in carrying out the projects and programs planned for the school year
• Initiate fundraising activities to assist NBMS in obtaining the financial resources needed to support its academic and cultural programs
• Support the NBMS students through effective collaboration and cooperation with the Student Government Association (SGA) and the Guidance Department
